That's right. That's a Cagemon. Nic Cage's face on a Pokemon's body. I'm pretty sure that's the dictionary definition of awesome.

The UK's No.1 movie,
Wreck It Ralph, posits that the game, and, by extension its familiar characters, live on long after you've turned off the console. Let's reflect on that a touch shall we? For it represents quite a grim prospect indeed for the inhabitants of Pandora.

Oh well. I was so looking forward to catching Sony's PlayStation 4 unveiling and getting hands on with Bungie's ambitious
Destiny. It turns out we won't make it to those milestones 'cos some guy's made a
Crysis 3 bow and will give the world a new poop chute.

Get ready to LOL your spleen off. GearBox Software's Aliens: Colonial Marines has been given a critical braining by Xeno fans and journos alike. Why? Well, it might have something to do with the dodgy enemy AI.

In the new 'talky' Wreck-It Ralph there's a character celebrated for being a glitch, an error - a Ghost In The Machine. When partaking in said movie I couldn't help but feel that they nailed it there - glitches, as frustrating as they can be and potentially game-breaking, are funny as hell. Right? Right. Dead Space 3 has taken a bow stateside to some mixed reactions. Extensive weapon crafting. Good. Repetitive fetch quests and microtransactions. Not so good. Still, we'll get to make up our own minds this Friday when EA's slice-'em-up hits the shelves this side of The Pond. In the meantime, here's some rather awesome concept art.

What with Oscar contender Zero Dark Thirty coming under hostile media scrutiny for its depiction of harsh interrogatory techniques, Splinter Cell: Blacklist has found itself in the firing line too courtesy of a gratuitous QTE. A scene Ubisoft showed at last June's E3 and one that, only now, is being removed from the game.

Briefly, launch trailers can be staggering achievements of audio visual entertainment. When done properly, a la Gears of War's 'Mad World' promo, they compel you to investigate further and pick up a copy of said game. That promo was a franchise-starter in its own right. This, this is a franchise-killer.

Job interviews. No one likes 'em. They're right up there in the unpleasantness stakes with waterboarding and sexual intercourse. Err, I mean 'moving home'. So massive kudos then to all those at tech startup WibiData - they've spiced up things by making a custom level of Portal 2 an integral part of proceedings.
